In the period from April 26 to May 5, Uzbekistan hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Organization of Advocacy in Uzbekistan and Russia. International Standards of Advocacy", organized by the International Union (Commonwealth) of Lawyers, with the support of the AP of the Moscow region, the FPA of the Russian Federation and the Federal Union of Lawyers of Russia.

The conference participants got acquainted with the legal system of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the principles of advocacy, the main forms of legal entities and other aspects of the activities of lawyers in the republic. The delegates visited the Chamber of Lawyers of Uzbekistan and met with the Chairman of the Chamber A.K.Ernazarov.

An extensive cultural program was also presented. The conference participants visited Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, got acquainted with famous architectural monuments.
